The layer has been derived by way of calculation on the basis of the layers of average monthly air temperatures (Afonin, A.N., Lipiyaynen, K.L., Tsepelev, V.Y., 2006). The calculation followed the general procedure (Losev, А.P., 1994) in the Idrisi program resorting to macro programming. "-100" marks the pixels outside the Atlas.
