Distribution area within the former USSR covers Belorussia, marshy woodlands of Ukraine, the Baltic States, and Northwestern and Central regions of Russia (Majsurian, Atabekova, 1974; Vehov, 1978; Yellow lupine, 1988; Korenev, Podgornyi, Shcherbak, 1990; Lupins, 2002). Places situated far from the base distribution area are marked by points.
