Date of creation:

Accuracy of map:

Created on the basis of a map scale 1:40,000,000.

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for Russia" 9, 1001, 1, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic contents:

Vector map consisting of 3 thematic layers, where zones of severity are shown by polygons.

Accuracy of classifier:

In the disease area the zone of periodic strong blackleg incidence (up to 70-100%
infested plants), weak blackleg incidence (5-69% infested plants), and the zone of distribution are outlined.

Method of map production:

Zones of severity are outlined based on the analysis of materials published in open literature. The Blackleg map is based on data by Osnitskaya (1969) that has been supplemented with data taken from cited sources. Registration and a vectoring of raster maps are executed by standard means of GIS.
