Scale:

Accuracy of map:

Created on the basis of a map scale 1:33,000,000.

Projection:

.Alber.s Equal Area Conic for Russia" 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic contents:

Vector map consisting of 2 thematic layers, where zones of distribution and severity are shown by polygons.

Accuracy of classifier:

In the disease area the zone of permanent and high incidence (more than 30% of plants are strongly affected) and the zone of Downy Mildew distribution are outlined.

Method of map production:

Zone of severity is outlined on blank map based on analysis of maps and materials published in open literature. The Downy Mildew distribution map from Vladimirskaya M.E. & Chumakov A.E (1971) has been supplemented with data from Osnitskaya E.A. (1969) and cited sources. Borders of the zone of strong severity in Ukraine and Georgia are marked after Anisimov A.M. (1972) and Dolidze M.I. & Meladze E.I. (1980). Registration and a vectoring of raster maps are executed by standard means of GIS-technologies.
