Object description Download GIS-layers

Authors:

Object specialist Ph.B. Gannibal, GIS-specialist M.I. Saulich.

Date of creation:

17.11.2005.

Scale:

1:20 000 000.

Accuracy of map:

It is created on information taken from the open-published literature and maps of scale 1:33 000 000

Projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for the USSR", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic content:

It is a vector map of 1 thematic layer where the disease area of distribution is presented by polygons.

Accuracy of the classifier:

Determination of the disease area has been done according to a vector layer of a map of barley crops distribution.

Procedure of map drawing:

The map is compiled by results of the analysis of the open published materials. The Black Point of barley has been found in Lithuania (Shpokauskene, 1987), Latvia (Belitska, 1976), Leningrad Region (Gannibal, 2005), Byelorussia (Buga, Linnik, 1978), Ukraine (Kirilenko, 1971; Manzhula, 1990), Central Chernozem region (Svetov, 1987), Moscow Region (Barbayanova, Radun, 1989), Krasnodar Territory (Sirenko, 1990), Nizhni Novgorod Region (Mukhina, 1990), Georgia (Vardosanidze, Siradze, 1962), Armenia (Senekerimyan, 1971), Azerbaijan (Akhmedov, 1984), northern Kazakhstan (Gorodilova, 1964), Ural (Azin, Korobeinikova, 1967), Omsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo Regions and in Altai (Chulkina et al., 1974; Burenok, 1977). The distribution area was enlarged by additional regions belonging to the same ecogeographic district (Anon., 2002) that the regions mentioned in the publications.
