Authors:

Specialist-biologist - O. S.Afanasenko, GIS- specialist - M.I. Saulich.

Date of creation:

1.09.2003.

Scale:

1:20.000.000.

Accuracy of map:

It is created on materials of maps of natural scale 1: 40 000.000.

Projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for the USSR", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0

Basic contents:

Vector map consists of two thematic layers, where zones of harm are shown by polygons.

Accuracy of classifier:

Area is subdivided into zones of strong frequent (3-4 times per 10 years) and weak development.

Procedure of map drawing:

The zones of distribution and harm are allocated by results of the analysis of the published materials. The general information on life cycle of the pathogen and on host-plants is taken from the books by V.F. Peresypkin (1969); Kovalenko S.N. (1986); T.I Ishkova et al. (2000); Mathre D.E. (Ed.) (1997). Zones of disease harm are drawn after information taken from the book of Ishkova et al. (2000); from "Levels and tendencies..." (Eds. Novozhilov K.V., Zakharenko V.A., 2000); Kovalenko S.N. (1986); Borzionova T.I. et al. (1991); Goncharenko M.P. (1998); Polozova N.L. (1971); Sanin S.S. (1995). Blank map with harm zones of the Septoria Leaf and Glume Blotch of Barley has been scanned. Registration and vectoring of the raster map have been performed by standard tools of MapInfo Professional v. 6.5.
