Authors:

Specialist-biologist E.L. Gasich, GIS-specialist M.I.Saulich.

Date of creation:

11.05.2004.

Scale:

1:20 000 000.

Accuracy of map:

It is created on materials of maps of natural scale 1:33 000 000.

Projection:

"Alber.s Equal Area Conic", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic contents:

Vector map consists of polygons demonstrating area of the disease distribution on rice, which includes the zone of low severity of the disease.

Accuracy of the classifier:

All regions represent the disease distribution, where the Ascochyta leaf spot has been revealed according to scientific publications. Within the area of distribution the area of low severity is marked out.

Procedure of map drawing:

The area of the Ascochyta leaf spot has been marked on a blank map. The disease is widely distributed everywhere on the territory of rice growing and has low severity (Peresypkin, 1987; Egorova & Oksenyuk, 1989; Dorofeeva et al., 1992). Registration and vectorization of raster map has been carried out using standard GIS-technologies.
