Object description Download GIS-layers

Authors:

Specialist-biologist E.L. Gasich, GIS-specialist M.I.Saulich.

Date of creation:

15.12.2004.

Scale:

1:20 000 000.

Accuracy of map:

It is created on materials of maps of natural scale 1:33 000 000.

Projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for the USSR", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic contents:

Vector map consists of polygons demonstrating area of the disease distribution on rice.

Accuracy of the classifier:

The region represents the disease distribution, where the Phoma disease has been revealed according to scientific publications.

Procedure of map drawing:

The area of the Phoma disease has been marked on a blank map. In Russia the disease is registered everywhere in zones of cultivation of rice (Dorofeeva et al., 1992). Data on the disease severity are absent in the literature that testifies to inessential influence of the Phoma disease on rice yield. Registration and vectorization of raster map have been carried out using standard GIS-technologies.
