Date of creation:

02.11.2005.

Scale:

1:20 000 000.

Accuracy of map:

It is created on information taken from the open-published literature and map of scale 1: 33 000 000.

Projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for the USSR", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic contents:

Vector map. It consists of one layer characterizing the disease distribution on corn.

Accuracy of the classifier:

Zone of disease distribution is allocated by results of the analysis of open published materials (Nemlienko, 1957; Teternikova-Babayan, 1987).

Procedure of map drawing:

Blank map with outlines of area of Septoria spp. has been scanned. The analysis of literature data has revealed two publications, in which Leaf Spot of Maize was described (Nemlienko, 1957; Teternikova-Babayan, 1987). The disease is spread in the Caucasus, the Far East, Ukraine, and Byelorussia. Registration and vectoring of raster map have been performed by standard tools of current GIS-technologies.
