Date of creation:

20.10.2007.

Scale:

1:20 000 000.

Accuracy of a map:

It is created on materials of maps of natural scale 1:33 000 000

Projection:

Alber's Equal Area Conic for USSR, 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic contents:

Vector map. Zones of distribution and damage are shown by polygons.

Accuracy of the classifier:

Insect area is divided into 2 zones. In the zone of low damage, the pest is revealed usually on no more than 50% of host plants plantations with the low density of populations. In the zone of high damage, the plots with high density of pest populations are recorded every year with the species presence on all fields and vegetable gardens.

Method of map production:

The insect area and damage zone borders are shown by results of the analysis of only text materials published (Bobinskaya et al., 1965; Cherepanov, 1965; Ermolenko, 1971; Gurjeva, 1972; Kryzhanovsky, 1974; Sagitov, Ismukhambetov, 2004). Vectorization of scanned map is made by standard methods of GIS-technologies.
