Within the area of distribution the zone of low damage is established according to the extent of damage to pear.Method of map production:
Data from the open publications are used for allocation of area and zone of pest damage and collection funds of RAS. Zoological institute of the Russian Academy of Science. The localities of the species are marked in coordinate system on blank geographical map by standard means of GIS-technologies. In the former USSR, the area includes south of European part with Transcarpathian Territory, Crimea, Ciscaucasia (Vasil'ev, 1974), Moldavia (Poiras, 1998), whole Caucasus (Ter-Minassian, 1936; Avet'yan, 1952; Batiashvili, 1959; Samedov, 1963). Recording species in Lithuania (Silferberg, 1992) is doubtful. The zone of low damage comprises territory of the pear-growing in the Northern part of Armenia (Avet'yan, 1952).Reference citations:
