Scale:

1:20 000 000.

Accuracy of map:

Map was created based on materials of maps of natural scales 1: 12 000 000, 1:50 000 000, and according to information received from published sources.

Projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for the USSR", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0

Basic contents:

Vector map. Area of species distribution is shown by polygons. Zones of recorded mass outbreak are shown by polygons.

Accuracy of classifier:

The geographic area within the range of natural habitat is divided into 3 zones of harm (strong, moderate, weak). Zone of strong harm is characterized by settlement density on agricultural lands (on average) of 10-50 inhabited holes on 1 ha. Zone of moderate harm is characterized by settlement density on agricultural lands (on average) of 3-5 to 50 inhabited holes on 1 ha. Zone of weak harm is characterized by settlement density on agricultural lands (on average) of one to 10-15 inhabited holes on 1 ha.

Method of map production:

Two original maps of published sources were used in map production. The general distribution of the species was determined according to Flint et al. (1970). Harm zones were determined according to the All-Russia Institute of Plant Protection (1975). Adjustments to the borders of harm zones were determined according to Flint et al. (1970).
