Accuracy of the qualifier:

The dots represent information on the species localities according to herbarium materials of LE (1) and published sources (2), the polygons - generalized information on the species distribution from published sources.

Method of the map contruction:

The range map is based on coordinates according to herbarium materials of V.L.Komarov Botanical Institute (LE) and published maps (Shelyag-Sosonko, 1977). Rarely occurs on bars and islands of the northern coast of Azov Sea, in the Crimea on Arabatskaya Strelka bar, and in the northern Kerch Peninsula. Kerch wheatgrass is quite possibly a hybridogenous species resulted from breeding A. dasyanthum to A. lavrenkoanum.
