Accuracy of map:

Map is was created using maps of scale 1:20,000,000 and herbarium specimens.

The projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for Russia", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic content:

Map is a vector file consisting of points. Locations of species are represented by points.

Accuracy of qualifier:

Light-colored points represent species locations referenced in published sources. Dark-colored points represent locations from which herbarium samples were taken.

Method of map construction:

The species is distributed throughout the northern European part of Russia, the north of the Far East and Siberia. The distribution area is disjunctive and consists of four ranges: northeast, northern, east-Siberian and far-eastern. The northeast range occupies space from the western coast of Ladoga Lake up to coast of the Finish Gulf. The northern range includes the northern European part of Russia. The east-Siberian range includes the mouth of the river Kunga in Yakutia. The far-east range includes the northern part of the Far East, specifically Sakhalin and Kamchatka. These ranges were constructed using data from the BIN herbarium, Moscow State University, and St. Petersburg State University. Published maps of species distribution (Kharkevich, 1989) were also used.
