Data of creation:

Exactness of map:

The map was created using maps of scale 1:50,000,000, 1:30,000,000, and 1:5,000,000.

.Alber's Equal Area Conic for Russia., 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic content:

Vector map. Locations of the species are represented by points, while the area of possible distribution of the species is represented by polygons.

Exactness of classifier:

Points represent locations from which herbarium specimens were taken.

Method of map construction:

Point area includes original locations of specimens from the V.L. Komarov Botanical Institute herbarium. Polygons were constructed using species distribution data from Tzvelev (1976), Tolmachev (1964), and Fedorov (1974). Points represent locations from which herbarium specimens were taken.
The disjunctive polygon area is the result of integrating accurate species distribution data with the state border of Russia. The southern border of the European polygon was mapped using Fedorov (1974). The borders of the Ural polygon were mapped using Tzvelev (1976), Tolmachev (1964), and Fedorov (1974). The borders of the Caucasian polygon were mapped using Tzvelev (1976). Species distribution along the River Pinega (Tolmachev, 1964) was not mapped because this location was not cited in Tzvelev (1976). The distribution area map takes into account the ecological preferences of the species.
