Method of map contruction:

The data on distribution of the species were obtained from database of site coordinates of the species, in the Information Retrieval System "Wild-growing relatives of cultural plants of Russia" (NTC "Informregistr" № 0229905883) and published maps by Tolmachov (1964), Vasiljukhina (1969), Kachura for "Vascular plants of the Soviet Far East"(1985), Hulten (1986) and from list of locations published by P.N.Ovchinnikov for "Flora of the Tajik SSR" (1957).
In European part of Russia northern border of the area is constructed by A.I.Tolmachov, in Siberia - by M.A.Vasiljukhina, Hulten and corrected
in accordance with information from herbarium specimens. This information is kept in the database IRS, on the Chukotca - by Kachura. In the Middle Asia is drawn in accordance with map published by M.A.Vasiljukhina (1969) and is corrected in accordance with a herbarium data. Eastern border is constructed by Kachura and Hulten.
