For a basis of map of an area the coordinates received according to herbarium LE, and the published maps have been taken from the monography "Flora of Siberia" (1990) and "Vascular plants of the Soviet Far East" (1985).
It is distributed in a wood belt of mountains of Central Asia, Southern Siberia and the Far East (down to Chukotski peninsula and Kamchatka). In N.N.Tsvelev and N.S.Probatova opinion, probably, has hybrid origin and occupies intermediate position between Poa nemoralis, P. palustris and P. versicolor.
