Scale:

Accuracy of a map:

Map is based on maps having the following scale: 1:20 000, on data from herbarium specimans.

The projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for Russia", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0

Basic content:

Map is a vector fail consisting of points. Locations of species are represented by points.

Accuracy of the qualifier:

Lidht-colored points are locations referenced in literature sources. Dark-colored points are locations of species that were reported from herbarium samples.

Method of map construction:

The species is widely cultivated and weedy plant in all regions of Europe and Asia. Within the limits of the former USSR the species is distributed practically everywhere. The area consists of two ranges and separate points. The basic range outlined on a map by a continuous line, includes points of species habitat in the European part of the former USSR, on Caucasus, in Central Asia and in the south of Siberia. As a material for this part of an area the factual points of species site from herbaria (BIN, VIR, GBS) were used. East range adjoining to basic one, is constructed on the literary data (Vascular plants of the Soviet Far East, 1985) and outlined on a map by a dashed line. The points which were not including in borders of ranges, specify individual habitats of species beyond the scope of the basic area.
