Authors:

specialist-biologist - N.N. Luneva, GIS-specialist - I.A. Budrevskaya

Data of creation:

26.09.2003

Scale:

1:20 000 000

Accuracy of the map:

It is created on materials of maps of natural scale 1:10 000 000-1:80 000 000
and on literature data.

Projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic on the USSR", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0

Basic contents:

Vector map. Area is shown by polygons (basic distribution) and by points (sporadic distribution). Zone of harmfulness is shown by polygons.

Accuracy of the classifier:

The distribution of the species is divided into zones of basic distribution, sporadic distribution, and harmful area.

Procedure of map drawing:

The zones of distribution and injury are allocated by examination of maps and literature published. Avena fatua map from Hulten E. and Fries M. (1986) serves as a model. Specifications and additions are inserted from the publications as follows: "The regions of the distribution of main weeds of the USSR" (1935), Mal'tsev A.I. (1930), Grossgeim A.A (1939), and "Central Siberian flora"(1957). The northward border of basic distribution over European Russia and west Siberia is drawn according to "The regions of the distribution of main weeds of the USSR" (1935), map of agricultural lands, and publications listed below. In Altai the border coincides with state border. South border of A. fatua distribution is restricted by desertes. Zone of sporadic distribution is drawn according to data taken from publications listed below. The area of injury is established according to published materials (a list see below) and map of agricultural lands.
