Date of creation:

10.12.2003.

Scale:

1:20 000 000.

Accuracy of map:

is created on materials of maps of natural scale 1:15 000 000-1:100 000 000 and information taken from the open-published literature.

Projection:

"Alber's Equal Area Conic for the USSR", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.

Basic contents:

Vector map. Area of distribution is shown by polygons (basic distribution) and by dots (sporadic distribution). Zone of harmfulness is shown by polygons.

Accuracy of the classifier:

Within the weed area the zones of harmfulness are shown, where Monochoria korsakowii is pernicious.

Procedure of map drawing:

Area and zones of harmfulness are outlined on the blank map by results of the analysis of cartographic materials published in the open literature. Maps from the "Flora of the Soviet Far East, vol. 2" (1987) are used as a basis for a map of Monochoria korsakowii, supplemented by information from the below-mentioned sources. The northern and western boundaries of area are outlined according with the same sources. The zone of weediness is determined after T. N. Ul'anova (1983), V. V. Nikitin (1983), E. V. Prihod;ko, V. K. Sapelkin (1999), E. V. Prihod'ko, V. K. Sapelkin, V. A. Ladatko (2000; 2002), E. V. Prihod'ko (2002 a; 2002 b), and specified according to data on abundance, frequency of occurrence or weediness of the weed, taken from the below-mentioned references (for exception "Manuals" and "Flores"). Map has been scanned. Registration and vectoring of the raster map have been performed by standard tools.
